After an earlier career in corporate management, followed by a decade of private tutoring, personal and family health issues lead me to retrain as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.
Since then, I have been able to help my family and myself heal with the least possible medication in favour of more natural remedies. My purpose is now to help others also achieve naturally optimal health and wellbeing.
I have always had a keen interest in the human body and, thanks to my studies, I was able to expand on my knowledge and ended up being even more fascinated by the extraordinary machine that our body is. Today, more than ever, I am still in awe about the body’s ability to protect and heal itself.
I graduated in 2022 from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in London, after 3 years of in-depth study of biomedicine, understanding of human health, life stages, disease progressions and functional laboratory testing processes. With a strong focus on practical application (200 hours of clinical practice), this also involved training in Functional Medicine principles, a science-based method of assessing underlying causes of symptoms.
My passion is to investigate the root cause of the presenting symptoms and then support my clients to achieve their goals with personalised dietary and lifestyle recommendations.
Establishing a good therapeutic relationship is essential to ensure my clients achieve their goals. For the relationship to be effective, trust is key and sound knowledge is the foundation on which this trust is built. Clients need to be able to trust their practitioner’s professional abilities and skills and know they are in safe hands.
It is my responsibility to keep updated on emerging evidence and new research to ensure I provide my clients with the highest quality protocols and can guarantee safe and effective naturopathic nutritional therapy.
I am registered with The British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), which holds a register accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care (PSA), an independent body accountable to the UK Parliament.
I also have a Practitioner Membership for qualified nutritional and complementary therapists (Practice With Confidence) which provides ongoing medication and interaction support, clinical and business training, as well as exclusive access to a Drug-Nutrient Interaction Expert.
